  Let's do lunch!

Saturday, June 22    12:15 pm – 1:45 pm

Peace Corps writers, fans of Peace Corps writers and fans of PeaceCorpsWriters.org are invited to join us for a picnic box lunch during the conference “Zoo Fest” at the Washington Zoo (National Zoological Park).

Lunch (and entertainment) will be at Lion/Tiger Hill. — a large grassy area at the end of the park farthest from Connecticut Avenue. (It is also adjacent to Parking Lot D for those who might be driving.)

Peace Corps Writers will gather in a corner of the area. Look for our sign when you arrive.

Lion/Tiger Hill is the open space in the lower right of the map - as far away for the Conn Ave entrance as possible.

Box lunchs will be available — tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the conference registration desk during the conference.

About the box lunches from NPCA:
If you have purchased one or more lunches during the conference you must claim your lunch tickets from the Onsite Registration Desk at the Omni Shoreham when you pick up your registration materials.
If you did not purchase a lunch ticket in advance of your arrival, you can purchase lunch tickets at the registration desk the day BEFORE you would like to have it. For example: if you would like to buy a lunch for Saturday, you must order it at the registration desk no later than Friday at 3pm. LUNCHES CANNOT BE SOLD AT ANY OF THE DISTRIBUTION SITES.
If you purchased box lunches, you MUST present your lunch ticket to receive your lunch.
Lunches will be served Saturday at the band shell located in the National Zoo.

There is no charge for admission to the zoo.

There will be conference programs going on all day at the Zoo. For details go to Zoo Fest.
